Egypt
it is a
country of Africa, located in its north-eastern end, and includes the
peninsula of the Sinai (that belongs to the Asian continent). Most of
its surface is the desert of the Sahara, only lived around the oases.
Its capital is
Cairo (القاهرة).
He is one of the countries with more population of Africa, whose greater
part is based in the shores of the Nile river and in the delta where
they are fertile zones. Half of the Egyptians almost lives in urban
areas, mainly in the centers densely populated with Cairo and
Alexandria. Egypt is famous by its old civilization and its monuments,
like pyramids and great sculptures; the southern city of Luxor contains
a great number of old rest, such as the temple of Karnak and the Valley
of the Kings. Today Egypt is important in political and cultural center
of the Next East.
Egypt is in the northeast end of the
African continent, on the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. It border
in the west with Libya, the south with Sudan, the north with the
Mediterranean and the east with the Red Sea and Israel. |
