Slovakia
is
a Central European republic that comprises of the European Union (the
EU). It limits the northwest with the
Czech Republic, the north with Poland, the east
with the
Ukraine, the south with
Hungary and the southwest with
Austria. It's capital is
Bratislava. Slovakia owns several
characteristics that make an attractive country from the point of view
of the tourism. It owns numerous centers of winter sports, historical
cities, colourful wood castles, caves, unique churches, national parks
and other natural wealth and landscapes. One of the main attractions of
Slovakia is Montes Tatras (that is divided in the High Tatras and Low
Tatras), that is the more lifted zone of the Carpathians. There
interesting native species of fauna and flora can be observed, besides
offering numerous options for the practice of the ski, long walks by the
mountain and rock scaling. |
